We have entered the Northwood Town Six a Side Tounament on Sunday 16th July. We are looking to take a squad of 8 and have 5 or 6 confirmed already. Please see details below and email Dave Small asap if you would like to play

Dear David,
We look forward to welcoming you to Northwood Towns 3rd annual 6-a-side tournament. As you know it will take place on Sunday 16thth July commencing at 10.30am sharp. Breakfast will be served from 9.30am - please arrive promptly. The cost of entry is £10 a player and for this they will receive breakfast and an all-day buffet.
Please see the attached document for proposed groups and rules.
Squads should have a minimum six players and a maximum of eight players.
Bar will be open ALL DAY and a rolling buffet will be available for players throughout the day.
There will be presentations and a bar-b-q following the game. There will also be a happy hour commencing immediately after the final with jugs of lager selling at £5.
Please note that we play through all conditions so do turn up whatever the state of the weather.

Winner Group A v Runners up Group B
Winner Group B v Runners up Group A
5th/6th Wooden Spoon Match
3rd/4th Play-off Match
Final
Rules:
Each team should consist of 6 players (8 players in squad)
Each member of the squad will pay £10
Matches will consist of 5 overs each
Each player will bowl an over each (excluding WK who is nominated at start of game and cannot change during game)
Wides will be 3 runs - no extra ball
No-balls will be 1 run + a free hit next ball
If the last ball of innings is a wide an extra ball will be bowled until a legal delivery has been delivered
There will be no LBW rule
Bowlers will be restricted to a 6 yard run up
The toss will take place in the Bar between the 2 captains
A batsman will be retired at 25 and can return upon the final wicket.
There will be no last man standing, 5 wickets signals the end of innings.
Three points for a win, two points for a tie (tie = same runs scored regardless of wickets)
Top two sides go through to semi finals
Bottom two sides play in 5th/6th play off
If all sides are on equal points at end of group stages there will be a bowl out with three nominated bowlers and then sudden death
Losing semi finalists play in 3rd/4th play off
