Current ECB guidelines allow girls to play in age groups 2 years younger so those in year 3 & 4 are more than welcome to join us on Friday evenings.

The cost of membership will be £35 and coaching will run through to Friday 14th July (no coaching during the half term week on June 2nd) and will take place from 6.30pm to 7.45pm. If you'd like your son or daughter to attend then please email us to secure a place.

If your son or daughter is in year 3 or above (year 5 for girls) then please come and join us on Sunday mornings, 10 to 12 noon, for our junior coaching programme which runs through to the end of August. Membership for the season is £60 but do come along and try it out first before signing up.

59ers Bonus Ball draw starts again

The 59ers has raised almost £17,000 for the club over the years. It's based on the Saturday National Lottery bonus ball - you choose a number for the season and if it matches the bonus ball that week, you win! If you had a number last year we'll assume you still want it unless we hear otherwise, but there are a few numbers available. Please contact Phil Clarke to secure your lucky number, or for more info
(phil@pbclarke.com).

Cricket Teas
We're well known for the quality of our cricket teas, the highlight of the afternoon for some players! We're putting the rota together for the first few weeks, but need more tea-makers. We pay £60 per tea and it normally costs around £30-£35 to make, so it's a good opportunity to earn some money. You can do one or two, or sign-up for more. Please email Angus for more info
(angus.porter@btinternet.com ).
Sunday 23rd April 2017
Sunday Morning Cafe

This works on a volunteer rota basis, and we need more helpers to helpers to keep it open. Full training will be given although if you can make a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich, then you are almost qualified already. If you would like to help out please contact Phil Clarke (phil@pbclarke.com).

Senior Winter Nets Start Sunday 12th March
Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is your captain speaking!

Smally has a new pair of glasses, Bertie's elbow is better, Bushes has signed a 3 year contract for WNCC, Drew is working hard in the gym, Tom Wright is starting to grow facial hair, Ben Cooper is nearly taller than his dad and Alastair Paine is 6000 miles away in India. I will let you decide which is the best news over the winter!

We are all systems go for Winter nets starting on Sunday 12th March at Davenies School, Beaconsfield, HP9 1AA. Best to park in the Sainsbury's car park and walk through the back entrance to Davenies where the Sports Hall will be directly in front of you.

Please see dates and times below:

Sunday 12th March 6pm - 8pm.
Sunday 19th March 6pm - 8pm.
Sunday 26th March 6pm - 8pm.
Sunday 2nd April 6pm - 8pm.
Sunday 9th April 6pm - 8am.

As you can see we have managed to book 2 hour slots for practice, which is much longer than we can normally provide. With this in mind net sessions will be run at a cost of £5 per session for adults and £3 for under 18s.

It would be great to see as many of you down there as possible so that we can hit the ground running at the start of the season.

I hope to see you all there!

Cheers,

Gerry
