Wooburn Narkovians Cricket Club is based in the village of Wooburn Green in south Buckinghamshire, near High Wycombe. The Club was founded in 1936, and is now firmly established in the Thames Valley area. Our ground is at the far end of Wooburn Park, well away from the road, and provides a peaceful, picturesque setting for cricket.

The Club fields two sides on Saturdays and in 2010 the 1st XI will play in Division 3B of the Thames Valley League after winning promotion in 2009, while the 2nd XI will be in Division 7B of the same league. The club also competes in the Julian Cup midweek knockout competition.

The club runs one, often two, senior teams on Sundays, playing friendly matches to either a timed format, or 40 over per side. Sunday cricket provides the perfect opportunity to give junior players experience of senior cricket.

The club's junior section is growing, and in 2010 we will be running teams at U11, U12, U15 and U17, as well as arranging friendly matches for the other age groups. The club is currently working towards ECB Clubmark status.

We are always looking for new members - players, scorers, umpires and social members. If you have just moved into the area, or want to join a friendly local club, please come along. It doesn't matter where your interest lies, we would be delighted to see you.
